WordPress and Joomla for your Blog

July 10, 2013

If the world community of bloggers was ever said to have received a collective boon, that boon would have been WordPress and Joomla. These two excellent content management frameworks are today revolutionising the ease of construction, operation and alteration of blogs and websites. Both formats are open source and publically managed- meaning that the source code is released to the public, and experienced web programmers and even users can suggest and MAKE changes to WordPress and Joomla, in order to iron out all the creases, and to develop truly personalised versions, which would enable optimum operation for every user. So I would totally agree with you if you decided to design your blog/website using WordPress or Joomla. Where else would you expect to get such a level of functionality?

The most important thing about a website, other than its development, is its availability on the World Wide Web. This involves getting your website uploaded to a server that will act as your ‘base’ of ‘operations’. It will be ideal then, when your web host is an expert, specifically in the field of WordPress webhosting and Joomla webhosting. This will offer to you optimisation that will ensure glitch-free operation of your website. The upside is that even if something needs to be changed in the webpage, or an error needs to be corrected in a WordPress or Joomla page, it would be easier corrected if the host itself was good for Joomla.

You can look for specialised WordPress and Joomla hosts on the internet. Most of these services will host your website for a fee. Do not fall for tall offers and even exceptionally low prices- because what you cannot sacrifice on is customer satisfaction, on your ‘first’ image.

Based on the inclination of the webpage, it will attract either commercial visitors or blog surfers. Your website or blog will serve as your gateway, both to your intellectual development and commercial success!
